This was my favourite book of the trilogy. I really liked the characters. The surprises and plot twist were really interesting. The backstories and stories of the staints.
Some parts of the book were built up from the previous book only for it to be resolved so quickly. It was not worth it and i thought it would be more exciting due to the long leading up. I don't enjoy love triangles that are drawn out but I didn't mind this one surprisingly. It wasn't even a triangle anymore tho, almost a square. But i don't think the darkling and alina had a romantic relationship?Was rooting for the Nikolai but wasn't surprised when Mal and Alina was the end game. really enjoyed the world building and everything. :D really loved the side characters and went from disliking Zoya to her being one of my fav. The side characters were better than the main in my opinion.
