πŸ’š I love the single mom trope. Truthfully we don’t see it as often as we should and I freaking loved it. I loved Beth in this book - vibrant, chaos, happiness, love - all of it. The only thing she didn’t have was the confidence to pretty much tell her dad to F off. She does learn to grow that piece of her backbone throughout the book and it made me love her even more.

⚾️ Marc was a big ole πŸ† most of this book - grumpy - set in his ways - not backing down - pretty much everything I love in an MMC. I did love his character growth as well but he truly had to work for it.

πŸ’š I love Jenni and her work. I truly adore how she writes these books that just make us fall in love with the characters. We scream at them, we wanna throttle them in more ways than one - and it was really nice to finally step into her work.

⚾️ If you enjoy the single mom, the grumpy former baseball player with a chip on his shoulder, and two people who are complete opposites when it comes to being the medias darlings - this one is for you!
