Poison Fruit by Jacqueline Carey

3.0

I got bored in the middle of this one. That has never happened to me before, not even with Saint's Astray, which has a similar lull in the action. I think maybe I was tired of listening to Daisy whiffle. However, the climactic scene, I felt that in my bones. I felt Daisy's terror and anguish. I'm glad Daisy is happy now. But unlike the rest of Ms. Carey's novels, which I can re-read may times over, I won't be revisting Pemkowet for a good long while.
