The Girl Who Chased the Moon by Sarah Addison Allen
3.0
I quite liked Other Birds, the first book I read by Sarah Addison Allen. As for this book, I definitely enjoyed it, though didn't feel any connection with the characters. Being a romantic, though, there were definitely characters for whom I was rooting!
With that said, the people I met in this book were interesting and quirky, with secrets that will come spilling out in answer to characters' (and readers :-)) questions. I do not consider that a spoiler because if the secrets weren't eventually spilled then the book would have been simply fluff. As it was, the story sent a few messages: We do not have to be defined by our past selves (remember high school?). Life expands when we are open to change. We need to be willing to step out of our comfort zone.
