Meredith, Alone by Claire Alexander

5.0

Meredith lives in solitude, with only her cat as her daily companion. She has experienced a lot of trauma and with the help of her therapist, her sister, her best friend, and two new friends, she works through the trauma of her past.

This should come with trigger warnings of (attempted suicide), self harm, depression, and sexual & domestic abuse.

But as someone who struggles with her own mental health, this book was healing. I absolutely loved how the story was told & the characters were absolutely beautiful. The character development was very well done, and it was so easy to fall in love with Meredith.

Freya Mayor as the narrator told the story just beautifully and really captured the emotion in the story.

Huge thank you to LibroFM & Hachette Audio for an ALC in exchange for my unbiased and honest review.
