I would definitely give this book a 3.5 stars. It was more of a suspenseful, crime solving than thriller. Although there were some thrilling moments. And also the family relationship and dynamics of Gavin, his mom Mirabelle, and Danny was so intense and laced with trauma and toxicity. Overall enjoyed this read!
