The Sea of Trolls took me by surprise.
I expected far less excitement and adventure from the quiet start of the novel, but it quickly picks up and we are off on an adventure across the sea.
The characters are three dimensional, the stakes are real, and the writing is mesmerizing.
It's not an epic, but what it does it does very well. I would highly recommend.
