Really enjoyable quick read. The characters are all so well-rounded and distinctive, even the dog, and I had a smile almost the whole time, except for the two times it made me tear up. Elizabeth is a great character, and I loved seeing her friendship with Harriet and the doctor. At times, it felt a bit heavy-handed with some second-wave feminism, but perhaps that is due to the direct, blunt prose.
