The only reason I read this book all the way through was because it was mandatory reading for my AP English class. Lord how I hated this book... I didn't enjoy or understand what was going on at all during this reading. We talked about it for two weeks in class and it didn't help improve my understanding at all. All I wondered was how my teacher got that information from this writing.
The story is hard to follow and boring, I couldn't connect with any of the characters, and wouldn't recommend this book to anyone but a die hard Dickens fan. Maybe I'll reread when I am older and my child(ren) or grandchild(ren) ask to have somebody read with them. (They might have to bribe me though.)
