I suppose this review is for the series as a whole instead of just this book, but I'm pleasantly surprised by how much I really enjoyed these books. In some ways, I can't imagine having read them serially before they all had been published, and I don't actually think I would have had the stamina for it. I wasn't as hooked on this in the beginning (see: the fact that it took me six months to read the first three books and less than six weeks to read the latter three) and mainly kept going because people around me said they were great. Didn't quite seem like my cup of tea, despite me rating each book highly. But by the end I was so wrapped up in what was happening and found it to be such a bonkers ride. I don't know if this made me more inclined to read comics as a genre but I'm really glad I stuck it out with these. Looking forward to watching the TV show now that I've read the whole series.
