The last book was a bit slow-paced, and I'm not exactly sure whether or not adding a fourth mate was a good thing, though I'm not complaining. The multiple pov was a good thing, too, although each male pov were too brief. What's really interesting was the constant fourth-wall breaks. I'm still not sure if I like it, but I do find it unique.

Overall, I enjoyed reading this trilogy!
