What a story! Up and down, left and right - felt like it went all over the place when it came to romance drama! And that ending - well that was why I’m only giving it 3.5 stars. YOU CAN’T END A BOOK LIKE THAT!
Fortunately, I was able to get my hands on the second book and am currently reading it.
This is my first time reading a Gail McHugh book. As much as I enjoyed the story, I think I would have enjoyed it more if it was from the characters perspective. I felt the writing jumped a bit from each character’s point of view which made it confusing at times.
But all in all, a cute romance and I hope Emily gets her happy ending in book two!
