I honestly didn't expect to like this as much as I did, but it was such a pleasant surprise! This story was told so well, and Hauck really had you feeling for both Colin and Avery. My stone-cold heart was melting by the end! Her descriptions of Cathedral City at Christmas are just to. die. for., and left me feeling nostalgic for the 2018 Christmas period that we've just left behind.
