Just Kids by Patti Smith

reflective slow-paced

3.5

Patti Smith you secret literary minx, i nearly DNF’ed this book but felt an indescribable inability to actually let it go so - after a few days away - I rolled back into the pages and they consumed me. It wasn’t the most compelling read but it spoke to the struggle of any artist who didn’t come from money and Patti explained, phenomenally the dichotomy between wanting to create and not knowing what you need to create.
