Where the Crawdads Sing
by Delia Owens
I started to read this book a while back and I was so bored by it about 50 pages in that I just gave up on it. That’s something I almost never do, but I just wasn’t feeling it.
Then I saw the movie, which I absolutely loved, and that made me want to go back to the book. Sometimes you’re just not in the right headspace when you pick up a specific book. This time around I really loved it. Even though I knew how it ended because of the film, it still got me. The ending wasn’t anything crazy shocking but it still got me in my feels. It’s a good book worth checking it.
