This review is for the Audible audio dramatization version with David Tennant. From what I've seen of the original text, I don't think my review would be so high, but this dramatization is a brilliant abridged adaptation that doesn't get into what looks like drier parts of the text itself. I've only glanced at the original text, but this is my definitive edition.
