A Curse Carved in Bone by Danielle L. Jensen
adventurous
tense
fast-paced
3.5
I enjoyed this as much as I enjoyed the first one. It kept having twists and turns and has quite a lot more action. So I missed the little moments moments between Freya and Bjorn, though I can understand why they didn't happen.
I'm happy to have finished the duology and I will definitely check out Danielle L. Jensen's other series as I do like her writing style quite a lot!
“Have you gotten your eyeful, Born-in-Fire, or do you wish me to sit still a moment longer?”
“I wish it were otherwise, but yes. My reasons for lying to you were honorable. But my reasons for making you mine while telling you lies had not a measure of honor to them. I wanted you from the first moment I set eyes on you, Born-in-Fire, so I took you. Now I pay the price for my greed because I have lost the woman I love more than life itself.”
