After seeing the movies and the television show, I've decided to try out the novels. 61 hours was a good time. Nothing marvelous or terribly inventive, but the writing was captivating enough to compel me forward. I rooted for Reacher and the cast of characters. Many of the outcomes did not surprise me, but it didn't keep me from being disappointed.

I'll likely read more Reacher novels in the future.
