Cathedral by Raymond Carver

The concise, minimal prose of Carver describing day-to-day life (for the most part) across his collection of 13 short stories is fairly well done. Each was a pleasant read, but unfortunately a majority of them didn't really...lead to anywhere. Which isn't a must, and I think it was part of Carver's intention to leave them open-ended. Just not my cup of tea in that sense. Still, I'm open to reading more of his work.
