A Place Without You by Jewel E. Ann

4.0

Wow! Jewel E Ann has a way with words. I love her writing and have really enjoyed each of her books that I have read. I must say that the second half of this book was the part that I loved. The word humanity comes to mind when I think of what she wrote. Regret, hope, fear, love, forgiveness, selflessness, selfishness were all portrayed in this story. This may sound odd but the relationship between Bohdi and Barrett was what made this book for me. Those two were my favorite characters. While I did not love Henna’s character, especially during the first half, there was so much more to this book to love. It was an emotional read for me and would definitely recommend giving this one a try.
