What a fun, quick and lighthearted summer romance that is the perfect beach read!! After reading Nora Goes Off Script and absolutely loving it, I was so excited to read the author's second novel. While I enjoyed the book, it didn't quite measure up to the first.

Same Time Next Summer follows the story of two childhood best friends who became first loves, spending every summer together until he broke her heart. Fourteen years later, they reunite, and old memories resurface. Their connection remains undeniable, but she feels a sense of panic around him. Will they get a second chance at love, or will their past keep them apart?

Overall, it was an entertaining read that I would recommend. I loved the wonderful secondary characters and the personal growth the main characters experienced over the years. However, I believe the story would have benefited from being a bit longer to fully flesh out the characters and avoid a rushed ending. ⭐️⭐️⭐️.5!!!
