I absolutely loved this book. I read it for school, but despite that i still found it incredibly engaging and interesting. The character development, especially in regards to Leah, was so interesting and unexpected. Definitely inspired me to read more about the Congo. I also love the religious motifs in this book! They enhance the symbolism throughout but not in a jesus-y religious way
