I cannot say enough how glad I am that I discovered this author. I absolutely love her books, more than I can say. This book was no exception. It’s part of an interconnected standalone series and the author included a timeline at the beginning so you could see where this fit into everything (this was very helpful)! Javier is a bit of a black sheep in his family, although he uses his money to help people get a leg up in the world of haves vs have-nots. Nora is one of those have-nots that becomes Javier’s beneficiary. When they meet (without Nora knowing he was the benefactor) and fall in love, things get complicated to say the least. I wanted to hug them both several times in the book, and I was very, very happy with how it all ended up.
