Along Came Holly by Codi Hall

4.0

Holly and Declan are enemies. Sharing a wall between their stores he is the grump to her sunshine. In an attempt to get him into the holiday spirit, she starts what inevitably leads to a prank war between them. This leads the both to thinking about each other more than they had before. As they spend more time together, their feels turn more from hate to love and both must decide if they want to try out a relationship or not.

This is a sugary sweet holiday rom-com. Everything in this story is Christmas, the names, the people, the town. At the same time, it is a great romance between two people that start out hating each other and realize through a prank war that maybe the other has reasons they never expected for being they way they are.

Declan was a judgmental grump, but once he started to see the work Holly put into everything she does it was easy to see how their relationship made sense. Holly is overtly sunshiny, which sometimes was a little to sugary sweet, but was balanced by Declan's gruffness. These two actually worked together.

If you want a holiday read, full of spirit and love, this is the book for you! Be sure to check it out on release on September 26, and check out the two others in this series available now! Thank you to NetGalley and Sourcebooks for a copy of this book. All opinions are 100% mine.
