Convenience Store Woman
by Sayaka Murata
I really enjoyed this little book. The unique perspective of the main character, Furukura, kept me grasped and engaged throughout. The book made me think about life and what we consider 'normal'. Something I think a lot of us are thinking about as we no longer conform to the set milestones/timelines of 'adulthood'. Who are we to judge any one elses version of happiness anyway?
I recommend this book for anyone looking for a short, comfort read.
