This book was fun, light and enjoyable to read/ listen to.
Asher is a grump who has some preconceived notions about Phoebe so when it's time for her to nanny his little girl, they don't exactly start on the right foot. What he thought he knew of her is quickly becoming a thing of the past when he realizes that she is a grown up now, cares about his daughter and has a good heart. He slowly becomes smitten with her and it was very fun to watch them go back and forward from this attraction they had for each other.
Phoebe was quippy, witty and just fun to read about. I loved seeing her passion for ASL and for those who needed help with communicating better with others.
Their chemistry was explosive and that was yummy but what made this a great read was how supportive Asher was of Phoebe, especially when it was the most needed. He has a gold heart beneath that grumpy exterior and I loved seeing him help her go through the ordeal.

I loved Asher, his little girl and Phoebe and I can't wait to read more in this series.
