Magnolia, a seemingly ordinary chemistry teacher, with a hidden identity as a karaoke sensation, is a compelling protagonist. Her struggle with a curse that harms those she loves whenever she sings adds a unique and emotional twist. The chemistry between Magnolia and Riggs, the new principal, is palpable and beautifully developed. Riggs’ acceptance of Magnolia’s secret and the magical world she inhabits is heartwarming and adds depth to his character.
Pepper’s writing is both captivating and well-done, drawing readers into a world where love and magic intertwine seamlessly.
