Killers of the Flower Moon: The Osage Murders and the Birth of the FBI by David Grann

5.0

This book is an amazing example of how narrative and talented writing can make non-fiction seem like the most gripping story (especially for someone like me with very little experience of enjoying non-fiction. I continue to prefer existing in the imaginary world.)

Grann blended the story of the origins of the FBI, of the people affected by the systematic murders in the Osage County spanning generations, and the fiction-esque evil of the villains behind these atrocities. I could not put it down.

I am so happy to have read this, and understood a bit more of the brutal history of the Osage and the dedication of great detectives to bring justice to those who have been treated horrendously by white americans during the oil boom of the 1920's in the county.

I wonder how Scorsese will do at bringing this story to the screens?

Unquestionable 5 stars!
