Hanya Yanagihara managed to compile the most beautiful cast of characters, make you understand through them what it truly means to be known, lived, seen, and then decided it was time to pull your heart out of your ass. I would write a concise review but I don't think I'll ever process this book to manage it. I went in expecting the worst and I still managed to not even come CLOSE to anticipating the raw emotional response it would elicit.
