The writing in the beginning felt like wanna be quirky, but it's just cringe. It got better after 50% into the book, but some sentences still made me physically cringe
Not going into the fact that basically its romanticizing SA and Zade gets a "pass" because he's handsome. In the end, the author did write a trigger warning that basically screams DARK.
Also, I saw the cliffhanger from a mile away.
