Always With Love by Giovanna Fletcher

2.0

I really enjoyed Gi's first books and found myself really intrigued but around 1/3 of the way through I didn't have the same feeling I used to.
I found myself getting quite bored and almost not picking it back up again. The book really focused on what a lot of the first was about and felt like more of a recap than a sequel.
The narration spelled it all out for the reader and made it all quite predictable and I felt as though I could skip a chapter or so and still know exactly what was happening.
Apart from this, the sequel of how Sophie grew as a character really was the best part of the book and I this was the only part I felt like I really enjoyed and will remember when I think back to this novel.
I hope I can continue to read Gi's book and that she really creates some different and interesting characters.
