The Wind in the Willows
by Kenneth Grahame
Well, I can't say I came away from this book enjoying it. The entire story was basically just following Mole, Rat, Toad and Badger while they did nothing. Each character had a minor little adventure for themselves, but it was just a circular narrative showcasing british manners. What was even more baffling to me was that Toad, a character who stole a car twice, stole a horse and broke out of jail basically got to continue on with life with no consequence because he was an English gentleman and he "matured" at the end of the tail.
