This might just be one of the best psychological thrillers I’ve ever read. I’ve always enjoyed Markert’s work, but this one absolutely takes the cake. 

From the very first page, it’s a gripping, atmospheric mystery with perfectly timed twists and turns. I especially loved following Ellie as she tried to unravel the web. She’s such a strong, layered character and I found myself second-guessing every clue and interaction right along with her. Every chapter felt like another carefully placed thread in an elaborate spiderweb (haha). And every time I thought  I was close to an answer, I would have the rug pulled out from under me. It definitely kept me on my toes. The tension never lets up, and the final reveal left me completely stunned. 

I definitely recommend this one to all of the thriller lovers out there!
