A female chemist in the 1950s? Unheard of. Mostly because Elizabeth's male coworkers tried to steal and pass off her work as their own.  An MC with a very honest get-to-the-point personality and some interesting quirks (hello 6:30), Elizabeth is interesting to watch and surprisingly easy to root for.
