Forever Never by Lucy Score

5.0

*TW for domestic abuse*
Let me just preface this with saying that I was very nervous to pick up this book. I really loved the Knockemout series by Lucy Score so much I was afraid that this book wouldn't even come close.

And even though I still rank those higher than this book I am so happy to say that I freaking loved it! Remi and Brick were everything. I truly loved watching their relationship grow and thrive. This story was so layered and I just loved every moment of it.

While reading it was sitting at around a 4.5 for such a long time but something about the way this book came together in the last 30 percent really just hit hard. I cried, I laughed, and I was at the edge of my seat! Lucy Score has a beauitful way of writing 500+ pages romances that actually feel like they need to be that long! I could have read 500 more pages about this couple happy and thriving because I was so invested in them by the end.

The side characters were great and overall it was just a fantastic read. I loved the suspense aspect of this story and the protective nature of our hero. Remi was such a spitfire and had so much personaility. This book was a delight. And if there is one thing I have learned about myself recenlty is how much I love a second chance small town romance. So in short Lucy Score and done it again and I can't wait to pick up another book from her backlist.
