If anyone has noticed by now, I am a huge fan of FX’s show, Sons of Anarchy (Tuesday nights at 10 PM!). It is a show about a fictional outlaw motorcycle club (MC) created by Kurt Sutter and acted out by some amazing people. I am active in watching the show and participating in some fan things, such as listening to two fan podcasts and emailing them and calling them with my thoughts and comments.
So naturally, I thought I should get a slightly different view of the outlaw MC world, especially after it was announced that Oakland Hell’s Angels founder and former prez, Sonny Barger, would be appearing on the season finale of SoA. My dad watches the show as well and we were both excited by this development. I cannot remember if he approached me or if I approached him, but he has a few books on the Hell’s Angels and I chose the one that seemed to mostly be about Sonny Barger.
