At first I thought the premise was kinda low ball, cuz it seemed like she was taking too big a risk for little return? But I enjoyed the overall story enough to not let it take away from the rest.

I really loved the tone and setting so so much!!! The accents -le sigh- -Italian hand-

There are fawning moments and detailed uhh “warm” kisses (warmth is a thing apparently. Sweet, just saying the word is used in several instances hehe).
But in general clean and enjoyable.

I liked that the superstition as there would’ve been at the time, though heeded at first, was acknowledged as not being the source of what she had thought she was after. There were good themes!

There were a few things I wish had been better developed, but I have these on my wishlist for physical copies now, even if only for immersive experience and sweetness
