This was beautiful and just so heartbreaking in a hopeful way. I had a good feeling about it to start, but it exceeded my expectations.
The writing was lovely and heartfelt, this hit a chord with me in how it used magic so creatively to define what it's like to handle, heal, and live with mental illness and trauma in so many different forms, whether it's yours or from ones you love. The line "Every girl. Needs her anger." is going to stick with me for a long time, but the absolute soul packed into that line can only hit by reading this all the way through. Definitely top of my list to add into my home library.
