I like that Emma Lord’s books are never JUST about the romance. They’re often about a main character’s self journey, and she just happens to find love on the way. Andie is a stressed out university student just trying to figure out how to navigate school, love, family, friendship, and what the heck you want to do for the future. I felt that the struggles were very relatable. Honestly a great cozy and light read to start the year.
