Stinger by Mia Sheridan
Did not finish book. Stopped at 29%.
I guess this is Mia Sheridan’s second book and to say her writing has improved over the years is an understatement. Could not get through this. It looks like the pacing is going to be VERY lopsided (for second chance romance we want the second chance to be at least on par with the first chance - not the last 15% right?).
The lawyer from NOT Las Vegas, NV in me could not handle her portrayal of the most uptight 1L at a conference in Vegas. Her plan is to graduate from law school in 2 years. First of all - HOW?!?! You’d be dead, girl. Second of all - WHY? It was also a choice (see: not a choice I liked) to make Stinger really unhappy and ashamed of the fact that he works in P0rn. Especially considering the niche he’s in is targeted to woman. I think Rosie Danan handled the uptight inexperienced princess/male pornstar with a heart of gold MUCH BETTER and with SO MUCH MORE HEAT in The Roommate. I’d recommend you read that book instead.
