Captivating journey of two giraffes who survived an East coast hurricane while they were at sea to their new home at the San Diego Zoo. I liked the format of the old man writing the story down. The author used vivid imagery to describe each stop across the US, making you feel like you were in those different states. I personally could've done without the female character. I didn't feel like she added much to the story other than being a nuisance.
