Writer's Block: The Prequel by Georgia Rayne
5.0
Ohh yes, please give me more
This was the debut novella for this author. I loved how the story started in the author's mind, writing a detailed, intimate scene.
Beckett isn't your typical romance author. He writes under Becky Lovegood, the man behind the name, with 23 novels written.
I loved how we found out about Marina and what he learned from her, how he learned to explore kinks safely not only to use in his writing but for what he liked. This part, although it was serious for him, made me laugh because of some of his internal dialog. In some ways, I was rooting for a relationship with Marina, but you'll have to see what happens there. I like her character and hope to see more of her in the following two books.
This was left on a cliffhanger to open the door for the next book, but it was a great beginning.
