Good for a Girl: A Woman Running in a Man's World by Lauren Fleshman

This book truly shines the light on female athletes and the need to consider health alongside performance. Lauren did a great job sharing her struggles from high school through college and beyond. I believe female athletes, particularly professionals who are constantly in the spotlight with high performance pressure, have come a long way in advocating for themselves since this book has been written; however, the content in the book is still strongly relevant and eye-opening. I can't quite pinpoint why I can't give this book a 5/5. Every female runner and their coach (regardless of level) should give this a read!
