I started reading this and couldn’t put it down. At first, I couldn’t name why I loved it so much but toward the end Arce helped me figure it out—for once I was reading a book that was written for someone like me, not a white audience. This attention was apparent through every page and every word. Thank you Julissa Natzely Arce Raya for writing this book. I’ll be sitting with its contents for a while.
