I had never read anything by Elizabeth Gaskell so I decided to give this book a shot. I really liked it! It was fun to read a classic by a woman in a later era than Austen. I enjoyed the characters and their story. I would definitely be interested in reading more by her. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
