The Other Hand by Chris Cleave

This was good and worth the blind buy. It doesn't tell you anything about it & tries just to get you to buy it based on that it's just good etc. but I don't see any harm in just telling people that it's about a refugee girl coming to England and the story she has to tell. I can say that much without giving anything away. There is lots more to it obviously, lots of themes but I'll let you work that out for yourself.
It's very readable and has interesting characters. certainly makes you think about how you would deal with things or what you would do.
