This one wasn't as good for me as the previous books. I feel like it was more drawn out than Way of Kings as far as leading to something.
I don't dislike Dalinar, but he was the main star of this book.
If I hadn't been simultaneously listening on audio I would have DNF'd. For me parts 1-3 were too slow, you'd get an interesting chapter then be back to a slog. Part 4-5 were more interesting but had so many viewpoints it was hard to not have character whiplash.
This book did bring out interesting plot points and world building, but you have to be ready to get a ton of Dalinar and trudge through a lot of words.
