Playing for Keeps by Alley Ciz

4.0

Kayla and Mason's story was a rough one with cliffhangers in the first two books. Alley Ciz made up for it and then some with their conclusion though. The chemistry between this couple is off the charts with sizzling scenes that make you fan yourself. Alley was able to write Mason so that he was possessive without being controlling or domineering which just speaks to how good of any author she is.

Their whole story is one with such strong family themes and their relationship is about putting the other first and making decisions to help each other, not hinder. The relationships between not just Mason and Kayla, but the friendships and family connections made this a story I absolutely loved and I am so glad I finished out theirs.

I'm so excited to reach the next story, but I highly highly recommend the U of J series!!
