I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It was funny, tender, and real. I was skeptical of a book intended to be humor/comedy, as those typically don’t land for me. Not the case with the Guncle. I laughed frequently, and even shed a few tears. I highly recommend- would be great for a bookclub or even as a film.
