frenchlits 's review for:
Tarnished Crown
by Elle Madison, Robin D. Mahle
I received a copy of this book from the authors.
This sequel was filled with delicious tension.
I loved Rowan even more in this book than the first, I loved that she was able to banter with Evander who didn't shy away from her digs. He was also an amazing character, and I loved getting to know him better.
I felt that this book was a bit slower as some still important scenes were not packed with action but I understand why they were needed nonetheless. The writing might not have flowed as smoothly as it normally does but that might have been my perception because of the pacing.
Regardless, I am so happy to have read this novel and I absolutely cannot wait for the next one in the series.
